Papa Bear Chair + Ottoman

This unique Danish high wing-back series is mid century design. The wing chair and bench were made in 1951 and have since become the most popular Hans J. Wegner upholstered series. Initially called the "AP-19". It quickly got its permanent names, the Papa Bear & Teddy Bear series. This name came from a critic who called his armrests "Big legs hugging you from behind."
